Born in 1961, and is living at Voksen Skog in Oslo. "Skog" means forest. I have the large forest surrounding Oslo outside my door.
Education and work: "Sivilingenior" (not unlike the American Masters
Degree) from The Norwegian Institute of Technology in Power Electronics,
and some knowledge of Economics acquired at The Norwegian Scool of
Economics and Business Administration - Extention Dept. in Oslo.
Presently working at Siemens. Major tasks are design, follow-up of manufacture and installation/commissioning
of electrical equipment for offshore oil-installations.
Some interests: Photography - mostly slides, but I also use a digital camera. Chemicals and darkroom is history for me now. Music - only as a listener. I prefer classical
music, but enjoy others too. Electronics and computing.
Active member of an amateur computer club (Dataamatørforeningen). I do
also enjoy travelling, sailing, outdoor life and golf. In 1998 I started scuba-diving, and this is now one of my major interests.
